Barahiko Hito (
Appearance[]
Robara has feathery white hair with parted bangs that partially cover the left side of his face. He has gray eyes and white eyelashes, as well as a beauty mark below his right eye. His facial features resemble those of a porcelain doll's. [2]
Robara typically wears a black and purple floral lace shirt and a brown leather vest. On his collar he has a white rose bow brooch. He wears black pants and leather cowboy boots. On his hips he wears two belts, one of which is a pocket belt, which he uses to carry his glue gun.
Personality[]
Robara is portrayed as soft-spoken and carefree. He is able to remain cool-headed even in dangerous situations, however under certain circumstances he becomes distraught and impulsive. When it comes to his girlfriend, Hinata, Robara is a sensitive and affectionate individual, often urging her to carry or hug him. He doesn’t take it well when she scolds him for doing something she doesn’t approve of. In turn, Robara gets apologetic to the point of excessive crying.
However, under stress Robara's “psycho killer” side comes out. He also has a “bad habit”—he can’t calm down unless he regularly takes something living apart and ‘handicrafts’ it. Most of the time he simply plays with his subjects, putting them back together with his ability afterwards without killing them. He considers this to also serve as a creative outlet as he's had a creative eye ever since he was little.
Background[]
Robara is shown to have been a timid and quiet child. He also didn't have any friends. When he met Hinata, he appeared to be beat-up and had a bruised eye. Hinata thought he was being targeted by bullies, but it's implied that his life at home wasn't the best. It's plausible he was being physically abused. Hinata also witnessed him sleeping on a bed he had made from his dismembered mother. [3] After this Hinata's urge to stay by his side became stronger. Robara grew up with Hinata by his side, and later on was recruited by Nobimaru.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Transformation:
- Glue Gun (瞬間接着銃, Shunkansecchakuzai-jū?): Robara's glue is able to automatically transform into the same material and adjacent cells as whatever it's used on. Thus it can be used to put things or people back together, and heal them back to normal, as long as they are alive.[4]
- Decoration (武装飾, Busoukazari?): Robara is able to "decorate" his subjects by having his glue transform into bone, muscle and even weapons. The way the transformed glue moves is based on the will of the person it's stuck to. Robara also likes to name his creations. [5]
- "Minerva's Beacon" (ミネルヴァの狼煙, Mineruva no Noroshi?): Medium range combat mode. Covers one's body in flame armor. [1]
- "Titania's Dance" (ティターニアの舞踏, Titānia no Butō?): Hand-to-hand combat mode. Decorates the person with four arms granting them great physical strength. The arms resemble the wings of a swallowtail butterfly. [1]
- "Harpy's Thunder" (ハルピュイアの雷, Harupyui no Ikazuchi?): Air combat mode. Decorates the person with wings, granting them the ability to fly. [1]
- "Kali Ma's Massacre" (カーリー・マーの鏖殺, Kārī-Mā no Ōsatsu?): Berserker mode. [1]
Relationships[]
Haruka Hinata[]
Robara's girlfriend, affectionately nicknamed "Hii". They met when they were five years old, quickly befriending each other. One day Hinata saw the conditions which Robara lived under and the two have been inseparable ever since. He views Hinata is someone who protects him and is always by his side. He cares for her very deeply and becomes clingy, which mildly irritates Hinata. Because of how important Hinata is to him, he is rather sensitive to her criticism, which is also why he makes an effort to behave himself better.
