Operation Everybody Gets Along (みんななかよし大作戦, Min'na Nakayoshi Dai Sakusen?) is the 21st chapter of the Kemono Jihen manga series.
Summary[]
Inari with the combined calculus.
Kabane Kusaka and Akira manages to remove the nil calculus from Yui's chest. They then finds the life calculus combined with it. Just then, Inari interferes and touches the combined calculus. Kohachi Inugami with Shiki also arrive at the scene. Inugami tells Inari to give the calculus back since it belongs to Kabane. Inari proceeds to toss back the combined calculus since it would be useless for her to say if she can't hold of the nil calculus. Before leaving, Kabane offers Nobimaru to come with them in order for Aya to fix his hand. However, Nobimaru refuses saying that it is a result of his own lack of skills and leaves.
Akira apologizes to Kabane.
They then go to Granny Ohana's hospital, with Aya computing the total cost for the treatment which is over 50 million yen. Meanwhile, Akira takes care of his brother at the room. Kabane appears and tells Akira that once Yui wakes up, he has something to ask him. However, he also leaves apologizing for bothering him. Akira stops him and tells Kabane that it was a lie he said he hated him and he loves everyone, while crying. The two then reconcile.
Yui wakes up and thanks Kabane for saving him. It is then revealed that the snow village is gone since he allowed the nil calculus to take over his body thinking that Akira is gone and how he got in Tokyo. Kabane then interfers and politely asks Yui to tell him something about the nil calculus since he needs leads. Yui tells him that the nil calculus has been in the snow village ever since and asks if Kabane knows about Kemono Jihen. Inugami proceeds to tell them about it being the war between kemonos and human that happened a thousand years ago and the reason that kemono started living as humans is the history of Japan only the kemono would know and it is the Kemono Jihen.
Akira slaps Yui.
Yui then proceeds to tell that that war should never be repeated, being the cause of creation of the kemono calculi and tells Kabane that Kabane's mother or father would be the most renowned kemono leader in the world, considering that the kemono calculi holds that much power. Inugami then tells that they should confirm it. Inugami then plans to use the combined calculus as a bait for negotiation to find the other calculus. Shiki and Akira then celebrates with Kabane hearing the news. Yui then tells Kabane he will let him have the nil calculus and tells to make it useful. Driven by the fact that the snow village is gone due to his actions, he tells upon himself that he is fine alone and it is all his fault. Angry by his words and taking all the blame, Akira slaps him and tells him that being with Yui makes him happy and not being able to do anything for him makes him sad. Kabane also tells Yui that he is a good person. Yui recalls the thing he had done and Inugami dismisses it as it happens all the time. Akira then tells Yui for them to be together all the time. In response, Yui apologizes to Akira. The group then poses for a photo.
Meanwhile, Kon wakes up and encounters Nobimaru in front of her. Kon becomes alert and cautious around him. However, nobimaru tells Kon that Inari has a special mission for her which made Kon delighted. Nobimaru then gives the orders which is to persuade Kabane and retrieve the kemono calculi.
