Haruka Hinata (日向 (ひなた) 陽夏 (はるか) ,, Hinata Haruka^?) is a detective under Nobimaru's command at Inari's Special Investigation Unit.

Appearance

Hinata is of short stature and has a busty figure. Her shoulder-length hair is blond and has braided sections on both sides. Part of her face is covered by side-swept bangs. In contrast to Robara’s softer facial features, she has a somewhat aggressive look to her. She has amber eyes and wears button earrings.

She dresses in a white sleeveless turtleneck crop top, a black cropped tuxedo jacket and a black short high-waisted leather skirt. Additionally, she wears a heart necklace, a Special Investigation

Unit armband and red fingerless gloves. She also paints her nails black. On her hips she has a belt, which she attaches her weapon to. For footwear she has black lace-up high-heeled ankle boots.

Personality

Hinata is vulgar and has a rough personality, which is apparent from her way of speaking. When referring to herself she uses the somewhat harsh pronoun “ore”, which is typically used by men. She can be wild and impulsive, seemingly enjoying the thrill of battle. However, she condemns death and killing.

Underneath the gruff exterior, Hinata has a kind heart. She is caring and loving, especially when it comes to Robara. Though reluctantly, she often gives in to his requests to be hugged or carried. She goes to great lengths to protect him, even risking her life.

Background

Even as a child Hinata was protective of others, which is also how she met Robara. She proclaimed herself as “the strongest kitsune around” and kept bullies away from other kids in the neighborhood. She and Robara grew up together, as she saw she couldn’t leave his side. Later on she got recruited by Nobimaru.

• Fire Infusion: Hinata can imbue her weapon with fire, making it more powerful and destructive.

Skills

• Weapon Skills: Hinata primarily uses a nata, a Japanese-style hatchet, to effectively cut and slice things. She mentions how through demanding training she became able to make cuts without killing cells.

Robara

Hinata’s boyfriend of 20 years. She met him when they were five years old, and their friendship quickly grew. When she saw the monstrosity at Robara’s home for the first time, she doesn’t know why, but she suddenly felt she couldn’t ever leave his side. She is protective over him and wants a world where he’s accepted.
