Kanoko Village (鹿の子村, Kanoko-mura?) also known as The Deer Village, is the rural village where Inugami met Kabane.

The Deer Village is a rural village in Japan, known for its connection with deer, which are the village's specialty and treated with respect by the locals. Despite its peaceful appearance, there are reports of a strong stench of decomposing bodies in the area.
It is also where Kabane lived and grew up after being left by his mother in the care of his aunt.[1]
