Kinshi-Go (錦糸郷 Kinshi-Gō?) is a region in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. It is the place where Shiki was born and lived, before moving to the city.
Description[]
Kinshi-Go is a region located in Gunma prefecture, surrounded by towering mountains and dense forests. Its wilderness is home to a diverse array of creatures, including Kemonos. In addition to beautiful natural landscapes, the region has several souvenir shops and inns for visitors.[1]
The Legend of the Nishikigumo[]
In this region, there is a famous legend that says:

The Legend of the Nishikigumo
"Once upon a time, in a certain land, there was a poor young man named Shige. One day, after returning from work, he saw a spider stealing food from his home. 'I don't have much, but please help yourself,' the kind-hearted Shige said, sharing his food with the spider. The following day, when he awoke, Shige's shabby little hut had been decorated with a beautiful golden spider web. He sold the thread and became very wealthy, and from then on, he lived happily ever after..."[1]
